What's so special about poodles? Poodles come in 3 varieties - Toy, Miniature and Standard. All are high maintenance requiring companionship, leadership and sufficient funds for monthly grooming and veterinary care. The breed has a life expectancy of 12-20 years (depending on the variety), is highly intelligent and is marked by a resiliency of temperament.
Why are they homeless? There are many reasons why these special dogs become unwanted and homeless. Neglect, impulse buying, death/disability of their owners and puppy mills closing are just a few. It is for these reasons and many others that we work very hard to find permanent homes for each and every poodle.
